Peter Schmeichel believes Ole Gunnar Solskjaer can relax following Manchester United's emphatic win over Tottenham... for now.
Marcus Rashford broke the deadlock early on at Old Trafford before Dele Alli equalised with a superb solo-effort minutes before the break.
Rashford then scored the winning goal from the penalty spot shortly after the restart after the England striker was brought down inside the area by Moussa Sissoko.
While the win lifts the pressure off of Solskjaer's shoulders, Schmeichel insists that the same questions will be asked when United lose again.
'[The result] will give him a few days peace and quiet for sure,' Schmeichel told Amazon Prime: 'It will last until the next game he loses. He’s got a young team and he won’t forget that.
'Scott McTominay was key and he gives the stability the team needs. We forget this but you have to remember he’s a young player. He’s someone who needs to be nurtured and managed.'
The win lifts United above Tottenham in the table, with the Red Devils now sitting sixth in the table.
