Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic's injury is not as serious as first thought, the Bianconeri club have confirmed through way of a statement on their official club website after their medical staff conducted some tests on him.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina international was substituted just after the hour mark of their 2-0 win over Brescia this past weekend and there were some fears that he could be facing a few weeks out on the sidelines.
The tests which were conducted this afternoon by the reigning Italian champions' medical staff have ruled out any muscle injuries and simply highlighted some muscle fatigue in one of his thighs.
The medical staff will continue to monitor and evaluate Pjanic's condition for the coming days.
Whilst the injury is not as serious as first though, FCInterNews.it report that it still remains to be seen whether or not the former Roma player will make it back in time to face Inter at the beginning of next month.
