Chelsea transfer news: The Blues have completed another promising move with long-term Mauricio Pochettino goal.

Mauricio Pochettino is yet to be announced as the new manager at Chelsea and transfer plans are already in place for not only his arrival but also years down the line. He is set to benefit from the long-length contracts tying down star young players to the best part of a decade at Stamford Bridge.

Both Enzo Fernandez and Mykhailo Mudryk are committed until 2030 and beyond whilst Malo Gusto, Benoit Badiashile and Noni Madueke all have feature-length deals. The mass amortisation has attracted plenty of criticism from pundits but it does hand Pochettino some stability with what the future will look like.

Returning loanees Levi Colwill and Romelu Lukaku will also have futures to sort out but there are more long-term decisions to be made. Chelsea invested so heavily last summer in young stars - teenagers Carney Chukwuemeka, Cesare Casadei and Gabriel Slonina all joined for over £50m whilst Omari Hutchinson moved from Arsenal.

After a first season of mixed success for each of them they are the group for tomorrow that Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital are committed to funding. For Pochettino that is already an area of the club that he has been open about backing with heavy youth involvement a pillar of his teams.

"Officials from the team and the doctor came to carry out some tests.”

It not only provides a foundation for the future of the club but also gives Pochettino more to work towards. It has been nearly five years since a Chelsea manager lasted two-years in the job and Pochettino himself didn't get that far at Paris Saint-Germain.
