Paris Saint-Germain centre-back Sergio Ramos has officially returned to training with the French giants, following a thigh injury that saw him miss out on months of action, but he could be in contention to face Nantes in their Ligue 1 clash on Saturday
There has been a lot of speculation as to whether Ramos will be available for the clash, and PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino revealed how his defender's recovery was coming along.
"He is training well," said Pochettino. "He has been involved in three group sessions now and is showing progress. We will see tomorrow whether or not he is in the team.
"A world champion like him, such a competitive character, it is difficult to maintain his level of output without getting game time. But he is working very hard and he has a very strong will."
PSG No.10 Neymar recently missed Brazil's clash with Argentina due to an adductor injury and his coach gave an update on the Brazil international's condition.
"Today, he trained well with the group and I believe he will be able to make the game but I cannot be totally sure just yet," Pochettino stated.
Mbappe's recent success
Pochettino's star striker Kylian Mbappe enjoyed great successes with his native France in the recent international break, which the Argentine tactician had made note of.
"He has enormous potential and is constantly improving," Pochettino continued.
"I'm not going to tell you that we are responsible, we are simply here to accommodate his improvement. You should always give the credit to the footballer."
