Paul Pogba rolled up at Manchester United training on Saturday, to hand Jose Mourinho's side a boost ahead of their looming derby fixture.

United travel to the Etihad on Sunday, where they will face Pep Guardiola's league leaders Manchester City who they currently trail by nine points.

Pogba missed training on Friday after struggling with a 'little injury', but appeared calm and collected as he arrived on Saturday at the club's Carrington base in a chauffeur driven Rolls Royce.

The Frenchman also gave a glimpse of his personalised mobile phone case, which is emblazoned with a large image of none other than himself.

Pogba is set to undergo a late fitness test ahead of Sunday's fixture, along with striker Romelu Lukaku.

Mourinho's men take to the fixture off the back of a morale-boosting 2-1 comeback victory over Juventus in the Champions League.

Pogba featured as United refused to be beaten and cancelled out a sublime strike from former Old Trafford icon Cristiano Ronaldo to win the match.

United came out on top the last time the two sides met in the league, back in April.

Pogba scored twice as United overturned a two goal deficit to win the fixture 3-2 and earn local bragging rights.

Victory for United this time around would see them claw ever further towards the coveted top four positions, level on points with Arsenal in fifth.

The Gunners kick off at the same time as United on Sunday afternoon, when they host Wolves at the Emirates.
