Paul Pogba made a young Manchester United fan's day as he posed for a picture with him outside The Lowry on Friday night.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's squad were seen arriving at the plush hotel in Manchester's city centre on the eve of their Premier League clash against West Ham.

A number of fans gathered as the team bus arrived outside the hotel but one young fan was captured down on his knees and begging for a picture with Pogba.

As the Frenchman stepped off the coach, he saw the desperate fan and walked over to have a photo taken as other fans clambered to grab a quick selfie or have him sign their shirts.

While Pogba kept the fans happy, the rest of the squad were seen checking into their usual accommodation before a home game.

Juan Mata, Phil Jones, Scott McTominay and Romelu Lukaku were among the stars snapped making their way inside.

United face West Ham at home on Saturday desperate for three points in their four-way race with Tottenham, Arsenal and Chelsea to secure a spot in next season's Champions League.

It also comes just days after a 1-0 home defeat to Barcelona in the first leg of their quarter-final in the European competition, with the return leg penciled in for Tuesday night.

It remains to be seen just how many more times Pogba will check-in at The Lowry as he continues to be linked with a move away from Old Trafford this summer.

Sportsmail understands that a change in Pogba’s attitude and body language has been noticed around the club since he admitted during the recent international break that it would be ‘a dream’ to play for Real Madrid and Zinedine Zidane.

Manager Solskjaer believes his prized asset may be the target of a charm offensive from the usual elements in the Spanish media loyal to Real, sparking fears at Old Trafford that he could become the latest United star lured to the Bernabeu.

‘There might be a campaign, you never know what there is, but in my talks with Paul he’s always positive,’ said the Norwegian on Friday.

‘I don’t see a difference in him when I chat to him. He’s focused on performing and he’s a proud player. He always gives his best.

‘He had his highest ever output physically on Wednesday night. He’d never run as much in a United shirt. That was brilliant. The effort and attitude are there.’
