Paul Pogba risked the wrath of Manchester United after the midfielder risked aggravating his ankle injury playing basketball with Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler.
The Frenchman has been continuing his rehab in the United States and posted videos of his time on court with Butler on Thursday morning.
Pogba has not featured since September due to an ankle issue and the £89million man's decision to play one-on-one basketball is likely to irritate those back at United who are keen to see him focus on returning to the side.
The Manchester United star is hopeful of a return to action in early December when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side take on City and videos of Pogba dribbling with the basketball and putting pressure on his ankle suggests he is closing in on a return to action.
But the light basketball session with Butler could have risked further damage to the ankle and United will be relieved he emerged unscathed.
Pogba has been enjoying his time on the east coast of the United States and he was courtside to watch Butler and Co defeat the Cleveland Cavaliers 124-100 on Wednesday, sat alongside girlfriend Maria Salaues.
