Paul Pogba's brother Mathias has been caught in a contract dispute between Spanish fourth division clubs Manchego and Lorca.
Both of the Tercera Division teams claim to have the striker under contract, with the 29-year-old joining Manchego last summer.
However, Lorca appeared to announce the striker's signing in a tweet - only for the move to be swiftly denied by Pogba's current club.
Mathias, who has played for Wrexham, Crewe, Crawley and Partick Thistle during a nomadic career, is the elder sibling of the Manchester United star and has a twin brother Florentin - who is also a professional footballer.
In a statement, Pogba's current club said: 'As we have been doing, we will ALWAYS defend the rights and interests of the Manchego Ciudad Real CD.'
While Pogba Jr is a World Cup winner with France, Mathias has earned five caps for Guinea during his career.
