Police officers swooped on Queens Park Rangers’ training ground on Thursday to arrest two footballers on suspicion of voyeurism.

Cops arrived at the Championship club’s HQ in Hounslow on Thursday to arrest the players, who are understood to be part of the club’s academy. Both men are in their late teens.

The arrests are linked to an incident at a nightclub in Kingston, south London, earlier this month.

Voyeurism is the act of gaining sexual gratification from observing or recording someone engaged in a private activity without their consent.

The suspects remain in custody while the police continue their investigation.

In response to a request from Mail Sport, a Metropolitan Police spokesperson confirmed: 'On Thursday, 27 February, police arrested two men in their late teens on suspicion of voyeurism.

‘This follows a report of an incident which took place at a nightclub in Kingston on Wednesday, 5 February

‘Both suspects remain in custody and enquiries are ongoing. The victim continues to be supported by specialist officers.’

A QPR statement issued to Mail Sport read: ‘Queens Park Rangers Football Cub are aware of an alleged incident involving two academy players.

'The individuals are helping police with their enquiries.

'As this is an ongoing investigation, the club will not be making any further comment at this time.'

The maximum penalty for suspects guilty of voyeurism is two years imprisonment.
