From value tickets to big-money executive deals, top-flight football can cost anything from a few hundred pounds to well over a thousand
Life as a football fan never seems to be getting any cheaper.
For all the efforts of various fan groups, the cost of an average season ticket in the Premier League is going up every year. That's before you even factor in your parking, public transport, pie and pint.
But value can still be found. For the 2019-20 season, a single adult season ticket at a Premier League club can cost you anything from £320 to £1995.
So where are the cheap seats? And which club offers the most lavish luxury option?
Arsenal
Arsenal have been tipped out of their usual space at the top of the pricing ladder in recent years, with North London rivals Spurs now touting the dearest season tickets. But the Gunners still aren't offering tickets on a budget. Their cheapest adult ticket is £891, with the most expensive at £1768.
Aston Villa
Aston Villa have announced some price rises to go with their promotion back to the Premier League - though the cheapest option remains the same. An adult season ticket can be bought for just £370 in Zone 6, though the best seats in Zone 1 have risen to £684.
Bournemouth
The Cherries have established themselves as a stable Premier League club and their season tickets reflect that stability. Their prices were frozen for the fourth consecutive year. The cheapest adult season ticket, in the North Stand, cost £550 while the priciest option was an executive ticket for £950.
Brighton & Hove Albion
The Seagulls announced a slight increase on their season ticket prices for 2019-20, and fans will be hoping it is accompanied by a more comfortable league campaign. The cheapest adult ticket was £535, with the most expensive at £845. Tickets in general went up by around £20 from the previous season.
Burnley
Burnley froze their season ticket prices once again ahead of the 2019-20 season, with some of the cheapest tickets in the Premier League. An adult ticket in the Ladbrokes or Jimmy McIlroy Lower Stands cost £390, while the most expensive was available at £580.
Chelsea
As you might expect, season tickets at Stamford Bridge are among the most expensive in the Premier League. The cheapest adult by some distance is in the East Lower Family Centre at £595, but a seat in the West Stand Upper will cost you more than double that at £1250.
Crystal Palace
Palace offer a variety of season tickets, including discounted adult tickets if bought as part of a family deal. An adult ticket with family pricing can cost as little as £500, compared to £600 without. The most expensive ticket on offer, in the Main Stand's Stephenson Lounge, costs £810.
Everton
Everton fans will be able to watch the next step of Marco Silva's grand plan for the same price as last season. The Toffees froze their season ticket prices for the fourth year on the bounce. Tickets are fairly consistently priced around Goodison Park, with adult season tickets available from £420 to £565.
Leicester City
The atmosphere at the King Power Stadium isn't likely to be dropping off any time soon as the Foxes have announced a fifth consecutive year of frozen prices on their season tickets. That means the cheapest adult ticket available is just £365, though there is a big increase to the most expensive. A year in the Fosse Club in the West Stand will set you back £1065.
Liverpool
The new European champions have kept the goodwill coursing through the club with season ticket prices frozen around Anfield. The cheapest adult ticket, found in the Kop, costs £685 while a year in the huge main stand can set you back as much as £869.
Manchester City
They may be among the richest clubs in the world but Manchester City have announced another increase to their season ticket prices, which will be on average aound 3% more expensive than last season. However, their cheapest ticket remains at £325, one of the cheapest in the Premier League. The most expensive season ticket on offer rose to £950.
Manchester United
Season ticket prices at Old Trafford have remained consistent for most of the last decade, and were frozen for the new campaign for the eighth successive season. That meant the cheapest on offer remained at £532, with the most expensive at £950.
Newcastle United
If the Toon Army are good to their word, St James' Park could see a huge drop-off in season-ticket uptake this season - but Newcastle have announced a price increase anyway. On average 5% more expensive than last season, the cheapest adult ticket now costs £417 with the most expensive at £811.
Norwich City
The Canaries announced their season-ticket price freeze way back in January, before promotion to the Premier League was confirmed. After the initial early bird deals, that left the cheapest adult ticket at £580.50, with the most expensive at £907.50.
Sheffield United
The Blades' barnstorming promotion from the Championship was one of the stories of the 2018-19 season, and the club have sold a record number of season tickets for the new campaign in the Premier League. Their cheapest was on offer at £402.50, while their most expensive actually cost less than several clubs' budget offer at £513.50.
Southampton
The Saints may have had a difficult time of things last year, but most of their fans will benefit from a price decrease in 2019-20. Two thirds of their season tickets have been reduced in price, with the other third remaining frozen at the same rate. That means an adult season ticket could cost you between £399 and £855, depending on your chosen part of the ground.
Tottenham
Spurs may finally be spending their first full season at their new home but season ticket prices for the new campaign have been frozen from last season. However, their prices are among the highest in the Premier League. Their cheapest is £795, with the most expensive a whopping £1995 - that's £105 per game.
Watford
Watford will be looking to continue their consolidation in the Premier League, following a memorable 2018-19 season which saw them reach the FA Cup Final. After an initial early bird deal, adult season tickets were available to renew from £496 to £722, a slight increase on last season's figures.
West Ham
The Hammers have announced the first price hike of the London Stadium era, with prices for young fans going up the most. The cheapest adult ticket is still as good as it gets in the Premier League at £320 - but their exclusive '1966' seats would put a dent in your wallet to the tune of £1200 for every age category.
Wolves
Fosun, the Chinese investment company which owns Wolves, announced a record turnover in the last financial year of £12.31 billion ($15.41bn) - but season tickets at Molineux have gone up by 14%. The cheapest adult ticket, in the Billy Wright Stand, costs £493, with the most expensive in the Steve Bull Stand at £544.
