England internationals, £25million wingers and FA Cup final scorers are among several players Premier League clubs are trying to shift with less than a fortnight to go before the end of the transfer window.
Crystal Palace will let out Jason Puncheon, who scored against Manchester United at Wembley two years ago, as well as Pape Souare, Wales international Jonny Williams, Frank de Boer signing Jairo Riedewald and forward Sullay Kaikai.
Chelsea are open to offers for England midfielder Danny Drinkwater, who started only five Premier League games last season following a £35m move from Leicester City, while striker Tammy Abraham could also go.
Once capped by England, Carl Jenkinson is also free to leave Arsenal though the club may have to pay some of his £35,000-a-week wages if he goes on loan.
Football League clubs are free to sign Premier League players on loan until August 31 while clubs from most major European leagues can buy players until that date, though Italy closed last Friday.
Everton’s Yannick Bolasie has to decide if he wants to join Middlesbrough on loan. Bolasie wanted to sign for Burnley before the Premier League’s August 9 deadline but the deal fell through because Everton insisted on a permanent transfer rather than the Clarets preferred.
Bolasie has struggled with injury since joining from Crystal Palace in a £25m move and does not feature in Marco Silva’s plans.
Liverpool are looking for a club where Marko Grujic can play regular games in his preferred midfield position. Jurgen Klopp sees Grujic as a first-team contender in 12 months but wants him to go somewhere to help his development. He has so far turned down approaches from Cardiff City and Middlesbrough, while Leeds are prioritising other positions.
Fulham’s England Under-21 forward Cauley Woodrow is available and likely to head to League One on loan following a summer of big spending at Craven Cottage. Rui Fonte, Ibrahima Cisse and Neeskens Kebano are also available. Spurs may consider sending out Josh Onomah and Cameron Carter-Vickers again after successful spells at Aston Villa and Sheffield United.
Liverpool pair Dominic Solanke and Simon Mignolet and Leicester defender Danny Simpson could also be on the move and Isaac Hayden wants to leave Newcastle. Marseille have expressed an interest in Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny.
Premier League clubs have to name their 25-man squads at the end of the month. Eight of those must have come through domestic academies.
