Barcelona midfielder Rafinha was vital in the 2-0 Champions League victory at home to Inter, scoring the first goal of the game, and he was very proud of a performance which puts the team in an excellent position.

While reiterating the mantra of going for the Champions League, he also made clear Barcelona want to win the other tournaments too.

"We are pushing for the Champions League, that's for certain," he said.

"We are motivated in all the tournaments, but it is true that for us this is a very special competition.

"But we will try to go for everything."

Ahead of this weekend's Clasico, Barcelona will be looking to replicate tonight's performance.

"I think we go into the game with a lot of confidence," said the 25-year-old.

"As always, we will give it our all."

Without Lionel Messi, Rafinha was given an opportunity to start against the team he was on loan at last year, rewarding the faith shown by coach Ernesto Valverde.

"After a while without playing, I am happy to be starting, winning, scoring and feeling good," he said.

"I am very happy with [my performance in] the game and I think we played very well, this is the truth."

The focus now turns to that fixture against Real Madrid, which kicks off at 16:15 CET.
