Rangers have completed the signing of midfielder Aaron Ramsey from Juventus on loan until the end of the season.
The 31-year-old will hoping to reinvigorate his career and help Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side as they continue to compete on three fronts between now and May.
Despite being linked with moves to Everton, Newcastle United, Wolves, Crystal Palace and Burnley, Ramsay has rejected a return to the English Premier League to join the Scottish champions.
The midfielder has another year left on his contract in Turin but a title win for Rangers would likely pave the way for direct entry to the Champions League group stages and raise the possibility of a more permanent transfer.
Ramsey told the club website: 'I am really pleased to be joining a club like Rangers, where there is so much to look forward to between now and May.
'I had a number of offers on the table, but none matched the magnitude of this club, with European football and the chance to play in front of 50,000 fans every other week.
'I have had some fantastic conversations with the manager and Ross Wilson, and I'm really looking forward to working with both of them, and to meeting the supporters.'
Ramsey is earning an eye-watering salary of around £400,000 per week at the Allianz Stadium - making him the third-highest earner behind Matthijs de Ligt and Paulo Dybala - and the club were keen to get him off their wage bill.
The Welsh international moved to the Turin outfit from Arsenal in 2019 after over a decade with the London side.
His spell in Serie A has been blighted by injuries and fitness issues that have sealed his fate.
He has played 70 games since joining on a free transfer from Arsenal in 2019, scoring six goals in that time.
But this calendar year he is yet to play a single minute of action as he continues to rake in his lucrative weekly wage.
