Manchester United have been linked with a move for Wolves striker Raul Jimenez.
Reports in Portugal have claimed he could be on his way to Old Trafford with the Molineux club closing in on a move on Braga ace Paulinho as a potential replacement.
Juventus have also been linked with a blockbuster £72million move for the Mexican striker, who has scored 17 goals and registered six assists in the Premier League this term.
But it has now been claimed by Record in Mexico that Jimenez has a clear preference - he is happy to stay at Wolves.
They say that Jimenez, who became a father for the first time last month, is at home living in Wolverhampton and is keen to achieve more big things at the club.
A source told Record : “Raúl is happy in Wolverhampton and wouldn’t like to leave. As far as I’ve talked to him, he says he doesn’t come out. But it’s true that there is interest from great teams and for a great offer everything can happen.”
He has been vital to the club achieving back to back seventh placed finishes since their return to the top flight.
Jimenez, who signed permanently from Wolves last summer, addressed his future in March.
"I have a contract until 2023," said the 28-year-old.
"It's not that we have to qualify for the Champions League in order to stay. I'm good [here], happy with Wolves, doing important things - me as well as the whole team.
"We've been trying our best since the start of last season. We've qualified for the Europa League, now we're fighting for a Champions League spot.
"And it's the big motivation to keep growing as a player and getting into the Champions League is always a plus that satisfies you and keeps you thinking about big things."
