According to Chelsea reporter Bobby Vincent, Jordan Henderson missed Chelsea's Premier League match against Man United because of illness and was left out of the matchday squad.

Henderson joined Chelsea on a free transfer this summer, but an injury delayed his debut. He fractured his arm while on international duty with England at the 2026 World Cup, then spent about six weeks in recovery training at the Cobham training base. He made his Chelsea debut on September 18 against his former club Brentford.
After returning from injury, Henderson gradually earned more playing time. He scored twice and provided an assist in the 5-1 home win over AFC Bournemouth, then helped the team to a 2-0 victory over Everton.
