The reports that came out in February that claimed Barcelona contracted I3 Ventures to disparage certain figures in the Blaugrana universe were already damaging, yet it has now emerged that the club may even have overpaid for these social media services.
It is being claimed that they paid 980,000 euros for the services, when the market price would ordinarily be between 120,000 and 150,000 euros.
That's according to Sport, who are reporting on an audit being carried out PricewaterhouseCoopers.
It is also being reported that the payments were split into five, in order to avoid needing approval from other directors.
