Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been compared to Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo by his Everton team-mate Richarlison.
Calvert-Lewin, who was handed his first senior England call-up last week, has enjoyed a brilliant start to the 2020-21 season, scoring six goals in four league matches.
The 23-year-old has been the focal point of the Toffees' impressive start to the campaign and Richarlison has praised his strike partner.
'Dominic's development has been really impressive,' he told FIFA's official website.
'He's transformed into a complete striker. I remember when I got here he was nothing like the player he is today.
'It's down to the work he's put in. He's in the gym every day, he's always working on his finishing. And playing under [Carlo] Ancelotti he'll keep getting better and better.
'He's had a superb start to the season and without doubt deserved his England call-up. He must be a nightmare to play against and he has an incredible leap on him like Cristiano Ronaldo.'
Ronaldo is known for his impressive aerial ability and in Everton's opening game of the season Calvert-Lewin scored a magnificent header against Tottenham.
Carlo Ancelotti's side sit at the top of the Premier League after a perfect start to the new season.
