Roberto Pereyra has been arguably Watford's best player so far this campaign,  and has further endeared himself to club fans with his approach off the pitch.

Having played an important role as Watford came from behind to defeat Tottenham 2-1 at Vicarage Road, the Argentine was then filmed after the game posing with a waiting fan.

In the video he can be seen posing for a photo with a young fan, before asking how he is and giving him a high five.

He then pulls the fan, clad in a yellow Watford shirt, in for a hug before kissing his forehead and ruffling his hair.

An unseen voice is heard praising Pereyra and his teams for their remarkable opening to the season.

The Hornets, alongside Chelsea, are the only Premier League side with a 100 per cent record after four games, having notched up wins over Crystal Palace, Burnley and Brighton before Sunday's comeback win.

Pereyra joined Watford from Juventus in 2016, making 47 appearances and seven goals across his first two seasons with the club.

yet he has begun this campaign in spectacular fashion, with three goals already.

Having scored both goals in the 2-0 win over Brighton and then the opener against Palace in a 2-1 victory, it has been a standout start for the Argentine international.

With premier League clubs now on an international break, Watford will welcome Manchester United to Vicarage Road on September 15 for another stern test of their credentials.
