Andy Robertson believes Napoli will come together after their crisis and make it yet another “very close game” with Liverpool.
Napoli’s build-up to the match has been overshadowed by the team mutiny against a training retreat, which prompted the club to heavily fine their players.
“I’ve not read much into what’s been going on at Napoli, but it came to my attention over the last couple of days.
“They have a job to do, to get into the last 16 of the Champions League, and a positive result tomorrow would be a massive step towards that.
“For me, I think that’s all forgotten about, they’ll want to get to the last 16, something we stopped them from doing last season, so they’ll be out for slight bit of revenge.
“They’ll be all together and want to win for themselves rather than what’s been going on outside.
“I think their manager is a very good one, tactically, the way they’re set up, but they also have top quality players. Our games have all been very close, but we know that we can cause anyone problems too and if we’re 100 per cent, firing on all cylinders, we can beat anyone.
“I hope we can put in a performance we can be proud of and earn all three important points.”
