Cristiano Ronaldo took another opportunity to show off his honed physique as he went through stretching exercises in the gym.

The Juventus star made his home debut for the club on Saturday, helping them to a 2-0 win over Lazio.

Yet he showed that, even at 33, he still took his post-game recovery seriously as he stretched out on a mat.

The ex-Real Madrid striker opted to go shirtless for the picture as he grips his trainers with his hands.

Ronaldo has recently received even more focus on his post-workout routine, after it was revealed he spent an hour in the gym after a late-night flight home from a Champions League tie while at Real Madrid

Despite Juventus picking up six points from their first two games, the £100million man has yet to register for his new side.

Boss Massimiliano Allegri called for Ronaldo to be given more time as he finds his feet in Turin.

Allegri told the club's website: 'We rushed things a bit at the start. There was a risk that we could get ahead of ourselves with all the excitement among the fans around Cristiano's home debut. We needed to show a bit more patience.

'At times our play is too frenetic and at others we go to sleep, but we need to move the ball more quickly when the opposition tire.

'That said, we will improve and I'm pleased because this is an important win in our first match against a direct rival.

'It wasn't easy to play against Lazio given their counter-attack, but the two centre-backs did well. I'm delighted with how Ronaldo is settling in.'
