MO SALAH has cracked football fans up with his reaction to Declan Rice's comments at the PFA Awards.
The exchange happened on stage during the lavish ceremony at the Manchester Opera House.
Rice was speaking on Arsenal's outlook this season when he mentioned their recent Premier League finishing positions.
The midfielder said: "It has obviously been really tough coming second three years in a row.
"But I have said it before, in life you have got to go through some small losses in order to win."
At the mention of second places and small losses, Salah can be seen glancing over his shoulder at Liverpool teammate Virgil van Dijk.
Both the Egyptian and the Dutch defender seem to grin at each other following the choice of words.
Arsenal finished runner-up twice in a row to Pep Guardiola's Man City between 2022 and 2024.
When the Cityzens suffered an off year last season it finally appeared time for Arsenal to ascend to the throne - until Arne Slot's Liverpool came out of nowhere to relegate the Gunners to another runner-up finish.
Salah and Van Dijk will be hoping for more of the same this year, although Rice is holding out hope that this is Arsenal's time.
He continued: "We are going to keep going and keep pushing, and hopefully something can come for us."
The trio were on stage in recognition of their place in the PFA Awards Premier League Team of the Year.
Liverpool had five players in the XI, with Arsenal next best with three.
Nottingham Forest's Chris Wood and Matz Sels also featured, with Alexander Isak being included but failing to attend the event amid his ongoing transfer saga with the Reds.
The Swede's spat with current club Newcastle reached a head as he released an explosive statement accusing the club of breaking promises.
The club quickly countered with a strong statement of their own as matters spiral ahead of this weekend's match between the two giants.
