Dejan Lovren took to Instagram to share a hilarious conversation with Liverpool teammate Mohamed Salah after the Egyptian had forgotten what time training was.
The striker had messaged Lovren to wish him a happy new year, to which the Croatian replied in kind.
Salah followed that message up by asking: 'What time the training tomorrow?' and hilariously admitting he only sent the original message to check the schedule.
Lovren went on to share the exchange with his followers, adding the caption: 'Do you have friend like this?'
The pair share a close friendship, and regularly post videos together on their respective social media channels.
Lovren has recently reestablished himself in Liverpool's defence after an injury to Joe Gomez ruled the England centre-back out of the christmas period.
Salah, who enjoyed a sensational debut campaign at Anfield and scored 44 goals in 52 games, has started to hit form again for the Reds.
His 13 Premier League goals have helped Liverpool open up a seven-point lead at the top of the table after 20 games.
Both players are likely to feature when their unbeaten season faces its sternest test yet against Manchester City on Thursday.
