Salah's statue quickly becomes a meme...

A statue of Mohamed Salah has been presented at the World Youth Forum in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.

However, the piece of art, sculpted by Mai Abdel Allah, has quickly become a meme, as happened when the first images surfaced of Cristiano Ronaldo's statue at Madeira Airport.

It has been compared to Todd Flanders from 'The Simpsons', Rose from 'Titanic' and Marv from 'Home Alone'.

    It just goes to prove that there aren't any talented sculpturers left in the world. Whoever commissioned the sculpture should have refused delivery. What a joke of a piece, Just like the CR7 sculpture which was absolutely hideous.
