Mesut Ozil's season ended with him slumped on the bench at the Europa League final and just to kick a man whilst he's down, he's actually had a less productive season than former teammate Alexis Sanchez when it comes to assists.
It's not even 18 months ago that Arsenal were in crisis because their best two players were both running down their contracts and set to leave for absolutely nothing in the summer of 2018.
Sanchez has been much maligned at Old Trafford, and rightly so, and his first full season has been awful, leading to rumours he'll be moved on in the summer.
Things haven't been much better for Ozil and the man once considered an assist machine hasn't even created as many goals for his teammates this season as Sanchez has for his.
As per ESPN's stats, Sanchez has four assists this season to Ozil's three, providing them in nearly 1000 minutes less of football.
