Manchester United duo Alexis Sanchez and Victor Lindelof were among the high-profile footballers panned in Marca's 'The Worst' awards.
The pair received the dubious honour of being named Worst Attacker and Worst Defender respectively in the Spanish publication's parody awards ceremony of FIFA's The Best.
While FIFA's The Best aims to recognise all that is good about football over the course of a season, Marca (via Sport Witness) choose to highlight the under-performers in the game, with Sanchez and Lindelof featuring prominently.
The United pair were both also named in 'The Worst XI', alongside the likes of Arsenal's Mesut Ozil and Liverpool's on loan goalkeeper Loris Karius, who is currently plying his trade for Fenerbahce.
After his costly errors in the Champions League final in May, Karius scooped Worst Goalkeeper, while Nice's Wesley Sneidjer was Worst Midfielder.
Marca's version follows swiftly on from Monday Night's The Best ceremony, during which Real Madrid Luka Modric lifted the main award ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo and Mohamed Salah.
Midfielder Modric topped the public vote with 29.05%, while Ronaldo (19.08%) and (11.23%) came second and third.
Thibaut Courtois was named Best Goalkeeper, with Didier Deschamps scooping Best Coach after his World Cup win with France and Brazil international Marta lifting the Women's award.
