Sancho breaks social media silence for the first time since calling out Ten Hag

Jadon Sancho has posted to X, formerly known as Twitter, for the first time since calling out Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag.

Sancho has sealed a return to Borussia Dortmund on loan for the rest of the season after a public falling out with Ten Hag.

The Dutch coach questioned Sancho's effort levels in training following a 3-1 defeat to Arsenal in September.

Ten Hag left the 23-year-old out of the matchday squad entirely, which saw Sancho claim he was a 'scapegoat' in a now-deleted statement.

He refused to apologise to his manager and was barred from using first-team facilities at the club's Carrington training facility.

Sancho went radio silent on social media until Wednesday evening when he reactivated his Instagram account and changed its profile picture to him in yellow socks.

The England international has now sent a simple message to his 2.2 million followers on X, which reads: "2024, let’s go!"

He attached a photo of himself wearing his new number 10 shirt at Dortmund, pointing to his name on the back.
