The 18 year-old attacker is the son of former AC Milan and Real Madrid star Robinho.
UOL Esporte says Inter have started working on signing the midfielder. However, Inter have not yet made an offer.
The youngster is also said to have visited Inter's facilities over Christmas. However, he is keen to stay with Santos for at least the rest of the season.
Robinho Jr is under contract with Santos until April 30, 2027.
