Maurizio Sarri ensured there was no let-up for his Chelsea stars after their 2-0 FA Cup third round win over Nottingham Forest as the team returned to training.

Two Alvaro Morata goals helped the club progress, but attention now switches to Tuesday's EFL Cup semi-final first leg against Tottenham at Wembley.

Ahead of the clash, the first-teamers were put through a series of drills both with and without the ball.

The training group included star man Eden Hazard, as well as 18-year-old starlet Ethan Ampadu and veteran Gary Cahill.

Cahill is one player likely to leave the club during January after finding his first-team chances at Chelsea limited, with David Luiz and Antonio Rudiger preferred at the back.

Speculation continues to persist of teenage star Callum Hudson-Odoi, provider for both of Morata's goals on Saturday.

The 18-year-old winger has been subject of heavy interest from Bayern Munich having found first-team chances at Chelsea limited.

The Italian coach, famed for his 'Sarriball' passing philosophy, could be seen barking instructions and coordinating the training exercises.

Chelsea overcame Liverpool 2-1 at Anfield in the third round, before beating Frank Lampard's Derby 3-2 to progress to the quarter-finals.

As against Liverpool, a late Hazard strike was enough to seal progress over Bournemouth.
