Ezequiel Schelotto explains why he came back to Serie A for bottom of the table Chievo and believes in a result against Roma.
“I’ve been away from Italian football for four years, but I am here to give my contribution and my experience,” the wing-back told Roma TV and Sky Sport Italia.
“I am happy to see some of my former teammates again, as Chievo are in a difficult situation, but really want to give our all to emerge from it and we’ve shown in recent games that we are correcting our errors.”
The Flying Donkeys started the campaign with a three-point penalty for financial irregularities and are on their third Coach of the season, but seem to have found some stability under Domenico Di Carlo.
This evening they host Roma, who Chievo already held to a 2-2 draw at the Olimpico earlier this season.
“Roma are a very strong side, but games are decided over 90 minutes and we’ll do everything to bring home the three points.”
