Roma striker Patrik Schick has reportedly rejected a loan move to Newcastle United as he is holding out for Borussia Dortmund.
Schick is not in Roma’s squad to face Athletic Bilbao this evening, and Gianluca Di Marzio’s website claims he was the subject of an offer from Newcastle.
However, the Czech turned down the Magpies because his ‘desire’ is to join Dortmund.
The Germans have long been linked with the 23-year-old, whose face has not quite fit at Roma.
Despite being their record signing, Schick has managed just eight goals in two seasons with the Giallorossi.
