Jose Mourinho would've liked to say a few more things in his interview following Tottenham Hotspur's draw with Newcastle United on Sunday, but avoided a fine by keeping quiet.
Newcastle were given a last minute penalty in yet another handball controversy, and Callum Wilson made it 1-1 at the death with their only shot on target in the whole game.
'If I want to give some money away I'll give it to charity, not to the FA,' Mourinho told Sky Sports. 'So, I prefer not to comment.'
Andy Carroll latched onto a header from a late free-kick, and the ball came off Eric Dier's arm.
The Tottenham man was just inches away, and was facing in the other direction, however since his arm was in an 'unnatural position,' the spot kick was given after a VAR check.
Spurs were deserving of the three points, but will have to settle for just one in another weekend full of goals and drama.
'I don't think about [the penalty], I think about my team's performance,' said Mourinho. 'Very good. Really good performance. First half amazing, it should've been 4-0 easy, but Karl Darlow was fantastic and they managed to survive.'
Darlow made 10 saves during the game, and was the main man who kept his side in it.
'We kept them away from our box, and then we had a situation that we lost two points, but I'm not going to comment on it,' said Mourinho. 'I react during the game, but the game is finished and I don't want to speak about it.'
The decision has not only angered Mourinho, but most football fans. Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher blasted the incident as 'an absolute disgrace,' saying that whoever is involved in the new ruling is 'ruining football.'
The 2020-21 campaign has seen a handful of controversial decisions relating to penalties awarded for handball, with Manchester United's Victor Lindelof and Crystal Palace's Joel Ward already harshly punished this season.
Mourinho was also clearly frustrated by an injury to Son Heung-min. The attacker has been sidelined 'for a while' with a hamstring trouble.
'Son, he's just the first [injury]. I imagine Tuesday another one, and Thursday another one, and maybe Sunday a couple more,' the Spurs boss said. 'This is the respect that Tottenham gets.'
