Alan Shearer has said that Jorginho's pass for Chelsea's opening goal against Watford should be considered as the best pass of the season so far.
The Italian midfielder played the ball in behind the Hornets' defence for striker Tammy Abraham to run onto and finish well beyond Watford goalkeeper Ben Foster.
Speaking on Match of the Day, former Premier League striker Shearer was full of praise for both the pass and the finish from Chelsea.
"Chelsea are young, vibrant and what I like about them most is that they're forward thing," he said.
"Watch this pass from Jorginho, he looks once, Tammy Abraham knows it's coming, he looks again and then this is the pass of the season so far.
"It's just an incredible pass but Tammy knows it's coming and before the defender knows what's happening it's in the back of the net.
"Fantastic pass, fantastic finish."
Chelsea had a number of chances to increase their lead throughout the game, and the pundit said that it was because of the young player's attacking intent.
"Same thing again, first thought is forward. Can we pass the ball forward? Ben Foster was brilliant, it would have been six or seven if it wasn't for him," he added.
