Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder has expressed sympathy with Tottenham over the VAR decision which went against them at Bramall Lane.
With Sheffield United 1-0 up, Harry Kane looked to have levelled for Tottenham, but the goal was controversially ruled out by VAR, with Lucas Moura deemed to have handled the ball in the build up.
A host of decisions have gone against Sheffield United this season, with Wilder clearly not a fan of the technology.
The United boss admits that he understands the frustration of his Tottenham counterpart Jose Mourinho.
Wilder said: 'I have got a back catalogue of decisions that have gone against us, we are the unofficial champions of Europe on VAR decisions going against us.
'I can understand their manager's frustrations I would be super frustrated. It's a nonsense rule, it wasn't intentional.
'There is a difference when the ball moves. These rules are in place, I totally understand the frustration of the manager and his players. We have had the rub of the green tonight on that one, we are well overdue, but we will take it.'
Last month Wilder was left livid when his side failed to have a goal given against Aston Villa despite the ball clearly crossing the line.
Wilder previously said that VAR is 'sucking the life' out of football, with the Blades having had several goals disallowed, including Lys Mousset's strike against Manchester City in December.
Against Tottenham, Wilder's side finally got a decision in their favour, with the victory seeing them boost their chances of playing European football next season.
United are in seventh place in the table with six rounds of fixtures remaining.
Sander Berge, Mousset and Oli McBurnie were all on the scoresheet for United, with Kane scoring a late consolation for Tottenham.
