Manchester United defender Chris Smalling has landed in the Italian capital to finalise his season-long loan to Roma.
Smalling was all smiling as he landed at Rome Ciampino airport on Friday morning, already holding a Giallorossi scarf aloft.
The Englishman will now undergo a medical before putting pen to paper on his loan move.
Although the Lupi will not have an option to buy, they will pay United 3m to take him on a temporary basis.
