Spain player ratings: Usual starters should be nervous after watching Suso

  /  autty

Although it was a relatively easy workout for Luis Enrique's men against a lacklustre Wales, that shouldn't take anything away from the performances of one or two players, particularly Suso.

There'll be some usual starters looking over their shoulders now.

Do you agree with the player ratings below?

Suso

He showed what a wide player should do and assisted two goals.

Alcacer

Two goals for the ex-Barcelona forward and he looked in great shape, scoring twice in 30 minutes.

Rodri

He played as if it was his 100th national team appearance and his teammates looked to him as if he was Sergio Busquets.

Bartra

He sent a message to say he wants to play against England. An impressive debut.

Aspas

Always looking for the ball and was desperate to score.

Saul

Not as bright as previous appearances but he left his mark on the game.

Jonny

Showed why Luis Enrique selected him for this team and he did well.

Kepa

Conceded late on but until the end he looked calm and comfortable.

Gaya

Attacked at any opportunity and delivered some good balls into the area.

Rodrigo

He had an okay game, not remarkable but played his part.

Ceballos

Not his best performance by any means but he kept things moving for Spain.

Sergio Ramos

Another goal from the captain who is astonishingly regular with his goals. He was taken off for some rest.

Azpilicueta

Solid at the back and combined well with Suso on the wing.

Koke

With Rodri covering him he could push on some more but he was unable to find that final pass.

Albiol

He was slow at the back at times and Wales seemed to target him.

Morata

He left the field without a goal and he wasn't happy. Not a bad game but he needs that goal.

De Gea

He was largely quiet night but didn't always convince when called upon.
