Napoli coach Luciano Spalletti is baffled by Tottenham's treatment of Tanguy Ndombele.
The France international has shone on-loan with the Serie A leaders this season after failing to settle with Spurs.
"Ndombélé is a strong player," said Spalletti. "At the beginning I don't know much about him, and there were doubts about why Tottenham let him leave.
"But from what I saw when I watched Milan - Tottenham (in the Champions League, Tottenham went out of the tournament), I would have kept him in the team.
"He likes to train and he is also a good guy.
"He is physically strong. In modern football it is needed. He has strength, stamina, technique, and can find solutions on the pitch. I like him."
