Legendary Inter midfielder Dejan Stankovic is set to return to the club in a coaching capacity according to a report in today's print edition of Rome based news outlet Corriere dello Sport.
The former Serbian international will help out with Inter's under 15 up to Primavera level teams and will train the midfielders and will be an assistant coach of sorts to the managers of these teams.
41-year-old Stankovic spent nine trophy filled years on Inter's books between 2004 and 2013 and made 326 appearances across all competitions in that time.
Stankovic will become the latest person who was involved in Inter's historic treble winning team to take up a staff role at the club.
Javier Zanetti, who captained the side, is currently the club's vice-president whilst defender Cristian Chivu is the Inter under 17 manager. Gabriele 'Lele' Oriali, who was the technical director of that team, also returned to that same role over the Summer.
