Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe has the highest estimated transfer value of players across Europe's big five leagues, while a whole raft of English stars follow closely behind.

Data carried out by CIES Football Observatory suggests that France World Cup winner Mbappe is worth an eye-watering £231million in today's market, despite the coronavirus crisis likely to have a detrimental effect on football's finances.

Sitting closely behind our four English stars, including Raheem Sterling, Jadon Sancho, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Marcus Rashford.

Sterling is valued at £173m, Sancho at £159m, Alexander-Arnold at £152m while Rashford completes the top five with a value of £136m.

Furthermore, Mason Mount has incredibly been valued higher than six-time Ballon d'Or winner and Barcelona icon Lionel Messi.

Mount has enjoyed a fine breakthrough season at Chelsea under Frank Lampard and is now considered one of the most valuable players in Europe.

The 21-year-old, who was playing for Derby in the Championship last season, has featured 41 times already in all competitions for Chelsea this term - scoring six goals and creating five assists.

Mount played an instrumental role in helping the Blues to fourth place in the Premier League before football's suspension in England at the beginning of March.

The England youngster's estimated price tag is £91m - which puts him 19th in the new standings.

Meanwhile, Argentine star Messi has been valued at £89m, potentially owing to the fact that he will be turning 33 later this month and is out of contract next summer.

Furthermore, Liverpool duo Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, along with Antoine Griezmann, Alphonso Davies and Harry Kane make up the rest of the top 10.
