Steven Gerrard had to try his hand as a translator during Rangers' press conference after Nikola Katic struggled to understand a journalist's Scottish accent.
The pair were taking questions ahead of their Europa League qualifier with Maribor but despite asking for questions to be repeated, Katic could not get to grips with the dialect.
He turned to his manager, who explained the questions to him before joking that he was the 'first scouse translator'.

Katic was asked about the praise that his manager had given him, prompting Gerrard to have some light-hearted fun.
'He said I say nice things about you. Sometimes, to the media, you have to lie!' Gerrard jokingly explained.
'He asked are you happy with the praise I gave you as a player.'
The 21-year-old showed he was in on the joke, saying: 'I saw the video, I love him also.'
Shortly after, Katic couldn't understand a question regarding the importance of European football for his career.
Gerrard stepped in again to help, before quipping: 'First scouse translator here!'
Rangers will take on Maribor in the first-leg of their third qualifying round in the Europa League on Thursday night.
They have already beaten Macedonian outfit, Shkupi, as well as Croatian side, Osijek, in the previous two rounds.
Should they beat Maribor they will go into a final play-off round against either Ufa or Progres Niederkorn, with the winners progressing to the Europa League group stages.
