Tottenham reached their first Champions League final last season finishing runners-up to Liverpool - but Spurs fans have been warned not to expect a repeat performance.
BT Sport's Script of the Season has predicted the north London club will fail to make the knockout stages of Europe's premier club competition.
The broadcaster believe Tottenham , who are in pot 2 for the Champions League draw this Thursday evening, will finish third in their group and qualify for the Europa League instead.
However's it not all doom and gloom for Mauricio Pochettino's men.
The Script shows a good Europa League campaign is on the horizon.
They reached the round of 16 with a 5-3 aggregate win against Belgian side Genk and a 6-2 victory against Premier League rivals Wolves before narrowly edging out Italian giants Napoli on away goals in a 2-2 draw.
In the semi-finals, Spurs come up against RB Leipzig which results in another comfortable win for last season's Champions League finalists.
BT Sport expect another all-English Europa League final, this year featuring Tottenham and Manchester United , with the Londoners running out 1-0 winners.
The Red Devils have been tipped to go goal crazy in the competition on their way to the final, netting 26 times - more than any other side.
However, they have been tipped to fire a blank in the May 27 final in Gdańsk, Poland.
Elsewhere in the competition, Arsenal are expected to reach the round of 16 after defeating PSV 4-2 in the opening knockout stage after cruising through the group.
However, Unai Emery's men will suffer more misery following this year's run to the final as Manchester United have been tipped to send them packing.
It sees Emery fail to reach the last eight for the first time in the Europa League era following previous success with Sevilla.
