Cameron Toshack has emerged as a contender to fill the managerial vacancy at Swansea City.

The Welsh club are looking for their seventh manager in five years after Graham Potter's departure for Brighton on Monday and Sportsmail understands Toshack is being actively considered for the role.
The 49-year-old son of Welsh legend John Toshack has numerous admirers at Swansea due to his ongoing work with their Under 23s and he is expected to get an interview.

With the club's finances looking bleak in the wake of Premier League relegation in 2018, it is notable that 15 players who worked under Toshack have featured in the first-team squad.
That familiarity and success with young players is a major factor in Toshack's appeal.
Swansea have not put a timeframe on the search, which will focus on managers who they believe can give continuity to the work done by Graham Potter, who favoured possession-based football.

Potter delivered a 10th-place finish in the Championship and an FA Cup quarter-final despite the departures of 16 players, with only five coming in.
The new manager will have to work against a similarly tough backdrop, with Daniel James likely to join Manchester United.
The parties are still someway apart in negotiations as Swansea hold out for £20m for the 21-year-old.
