Erik ten Hag could reportedly bring Ajax striker Sebastian Haller with him in the summer when the Dutch coach will part ways with the Eredivisie side to join Manchester United.
Anthony Martial and Edinson Cavani are expected leave the Red Devils after the end of the campaign, which could make a 37-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo the only available centre-forward for next season.
Hence, according to The Sun, Manchester United could land Haller in exchange for 35 million pounds.
The Ivorian striker has netted as many as 33 goals across all competitions this season, scoring 11 times in the Champions League with Ajax.
Manchester United confirmed last week the appointment of Ten Hag, who will succeed Ralf Rangnick in the dugout. Meanwhile, Rangnick is expected to operate in a consultation role.
Bayern Munich's interest in Haller
Should he not renew his contract with Bayern Munich, Robert Lewandowski could potentially depart the Bavarians in the summer.
As reported by Bild, the German club have also made contact with Haller's agents in their pursuit of a potential replacement for the Polish striker.
