Tottenham fans need to go through a list of procedures out in the Netherlands

Tottenham Hotspur fans need to follow a strict process if they are to collect their tickets for the club's Champions League match at PSV Eindhoven.

There were clashes between fans back when the two clubs played in the UEFA Cup in 2008 and security advice from both the Metropolitan Police and Dutch authorities has led to the following process being put in place.

Fans can only collect their own tickets at Spurs' dedicated collection booth, which will be manned by Spurs ticket office staff and will be located outside turnstiles 35 and 36 of the Philips Stadion.

There are set times when the tickets can be collected. There are on Tuesday between 2pm and 7pm and on the match day on Wednesday between 10am and 5pm. All times are local time.

To collect the tickets, fans must present their passport or EU driving licence and their full name must match the ticket application. Fans can only collect their own individual ticket.

Upon collecting their ticket, fans will also be issued with a wristband which one of the stewarding team will attach to their wrist and should not be removed as it cannot be reattached.

At the match fans will need to present their ticket and show their wristband to the stewards at the ticket check point to gain access to the turnstiles. Damaged, tampered with or removed wristbands will not be accepted, even if the supporter has a match ticket.

Supporters on the club's official travel to Eindhoven will be provided with their tickets on the coaches on arrival at PSV, where they will also be issued with their wristband.
