Over the years Premier League teams have been blessed with sensational partnerships.
And no matter where your allegiances lie there will undoubtedly be some player pairings that you have admired from afar and wished your team possessed.
Perhaps Arsenal's Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp come to mind or maybe Manchester United's Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic.

However, there is actually one Reds partnership that goes a big step beyond that.
The pairing of Jamie Carragher and Daniel Agger is the best defensive partnership of any Premier League team in history.
The former Liverpool centre-backs conceded just 58 goals in 8,171 minutes (approximately 90 games) playing alongside each other in the heart of the Reds backline and that works out to the equivalent of just 24.3 goals per season.
Ferdinand and Vidic came in second with a worked out average of 24.6 goals a season and Chelsea's John Terry and William Gallas came next with a 24.8 goals per campaign average.
