THOMAS TUCHEL has snubbed Manchester United after having talks with Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
The German was one of the club's targets to replace Erik ten Hag in the dugout.
Ten Hag, 54, still has an uncertain future at Old Trafford after a poor season ended with victory in the FA Cup.
Executives at the club have been conducting a review of the season before making any public announcement on their manager.
The Red Devils slumped to their worst Premier League finish and an early exit in the Champions League.
SunSport understands that Sir Jim Ratcliffe held multiple meetings with Tuchel in which the job at Manchester United was discussed.
However, the former Chelsea and Bayern Munich boss had rejected the chance to take over.
