Fans hoping to see Lionel Messi lift his first trophy in the US will have to pay at least $460 to get into Geodis Park stadium on Saturday night for the Leagues Cup final against Nashville.
Standard tickets are available on Ticketmaster as of Thursday evening but the cheapest ticket comes in at just under $500 for a seat in Row Z. The prices for standard tickets are set by Major League Soccer as well as Ticketmaster.
Resale prices, meanwhile, are as high as $2,600 for tickets behind the dugouts for Saturday's final.
The Messi factor has played no small part in driving demand for tickets across Major League Soccer to see him in action for Miami.
Before Messi and his team played Philadelphia Union on Tuesday night, coach Jim Curtin pleaded with Union fans not to sell their tickets regardless of the money on offer.
'Please don't sell your tickets, no matter how much money they're offering for them, please,' he said, in the hope that a more committed attendance of fans may intimidate Miami and Messi.
Unfortunately for Curtin, no such thing happened and Messi scored from 35 yards as his team beat Union 4-1.
A New York Red Bulls fan, meanwhile, managed to pay for her knee surgery by selling her ticket for $505 for the Miami game on August 26.
Geodis Park holds 25,000 seats and as well as it potentially being a historic night for Messi, it could be a big night for local Nashville fans as well.
Should Nashville upset the odds and win Saturday's final, it will be the first major sporting title won by any Tennessee team.
The Titans have never won a Super Bowl, the Nashville Predators haven't ever won the Stanley Cup and the Memphis Grizzlies are still waiting for their first NBA title.
Nashville reached the final by beating Mexican team Monterrey 2-0 at Geodis Park on Tuesday night.
