Everton, Fulham, Brighton and Sevilla are reportedly among the clubs keeping a close eye on USA star Timothy Weah this month after he impressed at the World Cup.
The 22-year-old USMNT star, and son of soccer legend-turned-politician George, has already played 29 times for his country, and started every game in Qatar as the US got through to the round-of-16, eventually losing to Holland.
L'Equipe are reporting that a number of Premier League clubs are seriously interested in signing him this month, with Everton chief among them.
Fulham and Brighton, meanwhile, are also keeping tabs, while Sevilla have an interest in bringing him to LaLiga.
As it stands, Weah is one of the top talents in France's Ligue 1, plying his trade for Lille, who sit seventh in the table, just outside the European places.
He has started just three games this season, coming off the bench a further nine times for Paulo Fonseca's side, having begun the season on the sidelines with a foot injury.
This season, Weah has been played on the right side of defense in the absence of Akim Zedadka, and losing him would leave Lille very short of options in that position.
It has been reported that he only has a €15m ($16.2m) release clause, though, meaning there are plenty of interested parties in swooping him away from the south of France.
He joined Lille in 2019 from Paris Saint-Germain, having previously been in New York Red Bulls' academy before heading to France in 2014 at the age of 14.
