West Ham have won their appeal against Tomas Soucek's red card against Fulham, meaning he will be available for the FA Cup fifth round clash at Manchester United on Tuesday.

Soucek was controversially shown a straight red card in the dying moments of West Ham's goalless draw with Fulham for an elbow on Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic.

Mike Dean sent Soucek off after numerous checks of his VAR monitor, and Soucek was set to serve a three-match suspension which has since been overturned by the FA.

The Football Association said: "Tomas Soucek will be available for West Ham United FC's next three fixtures following a successful claim of wrongful dismissal."

The Czech international will therefore be in the Hammers squad which travels to Manchester United in the FA Cup on Tuesday night, as well as being available for the Premier League matches against Sheffield United and Tottenham.
