Bayern Munich are said to have held a secret meeting with the agent of Manchester City winger Leroy Sane ahead of a potential summer transfer.
Discussions took place between Bayern’s sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic and Sane's representatives LIAN Sports last week, according to German outlet SportBild.
The 24-year-old is thought to be Salihamidzic's top target and he has supposedly been in contact with the agency for some time.
SportBild report that Fali Ramadani, one of the most powerful European player consultants, and his managing director Damir Smoljan, who last brought Sané to LIAN, traveled to Munich for talks.
Sane switched from David Beckham's agency DB Ventures Limited to LIAN in January but his new advisers are only able to enter official negotiations from April 1.
The German's contract at the Etihad runs until 2021 but Munich are thought to be prepared to offer a 'top deal' to secure their target.
The winger seemed destined to move to the Allianz Arena last summer but suffered knee ligament damage during City's Community Shield victory over Liverpool in August.
He has not featured for the senior team since but has returned to full training and has played for the under-23's.
