Richarlison scored twice as Spurs ended their five-game winless run with a scintillating 4-1 thrashing of top-four rivals Newcastle at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Match Report

Destiny Udogie opened the scoring after 26 minutes when he tapped in a cross from Son Heung-Min, who had beaten Kieran Trippier on the right of the box.

Son turned provider again 12 minutes later as he danced through the box and teed up Richarlison for a close-range finish.

Richarlison had his second of the night on the hour mark as he latched on to Pedro Porro's cross-field ball and netted against the run of play as Newcastle came out fighting.

Eighty-five minutes in, Son was rewarded with a goal after converting a penalty.

Joelinton was able to snatch a consolation for the visitors a minute into stoppage time but the defeat is a crushing blow for the Magpies.
